There are some days when you have every season mashed up into one day. Pouring rain, mixed with hail and sleet, a good gusty wind blowing through...and then the best part...a clearing of it all and you get a peak into perfection...

Light shining...literally SHINING on everything wet around you, which actually makes it hard to even see sometimes.  I don't mind the struggle.

Getting out in it is the challenge .  And as life gets more full just being out feels hard to do.  But after nights like last night, when I loaded up whoever was left at home, grabbed my camera and left while it was raining only to pull up to the ocean just as the sun was making its appearance for the first time in a few days, I realized we never know what God has in store.  We can never predict what each moment can bring.

In a picture above you can see the back of a humpback whale and his spray.  We were so close we heard him before we saw him.  God's little gift.
