Me:  How do I laugh in the midst of frustration with my kids. I would do so much better if I could laugh off a few things and get a thicker skin.

Amazing Friend Replies:

Laughing...a gift from the Lord! I find it so  much a choice to ask for grace!...The Saints were joyful-always, so I am learning it is praying for the Holy Spirit to fill us, to lead, inspire, direct.  I feel like I am given unending opportunities to lose my mind/enter frustration...or lift my eyes to the Lord and ask for the grace I need to grow in virtue.

That gift was given to me Monday morning about 5:00 am.  I have re-read it several times since.  How blessed to have a friend that shares such truth that is so VERY relevant to my struggle.

The phrase that has been deeply planted in my heart was "enter frustration"...I was able to make a little picture in my brain that looked like a doorway...do I walk through into frustration ...or do I look up for grace.

  1. I love to check out your blog every few weeks. Your pictures are beautiful, your children are beautiful, where you live is beautiful! Thanks for letting us have a peek! A side note (or two), my daughter played Annie when she was 11, today is her 17th birthday. Our family is planning an Alaskan cruise for summer 2016 (we live in Florida).
