Long ago we lived in Alaska.  We became a family there.  We were taught how to be a family by those amazing families that lived on that small island with us.  We enjoyed their traditions and we made them our own.  We found our Catholic faith in a small church by the sea.

We were lucky to have lived there.  We are lucky to live here!!

  2. Isn't it amazing how other families can have such a profound impact on your family and its future? We were also blessed as our family was in its infancy to live around some really special families. That combined with the things our own families had placed priorities on blessed us beyond imagination.

    I love Drew's sweater too!

  3. Oh, I love that you wrote about Alaska! As I started through your pictures, the first thing I thought was, "wasn't that fun having Pete's popcorn on the beach in Sitka?!" And low and behold, you mention Alaska! Perfect!
