It seems I always have a Milo Vest on the needles.  I love the way this looks on my little guy and I love the simple pattern.  I keep wanting to try another vest pattern, but chicken out at the last minute.

I am pretty much obsessed with all things Quince & Co right now.  I am knitting yet another shawl for...me in Quince Tern yarn.  I have decided to knit every shawl they just came out with last week.  I am not sure when I will do this but I am going to do it.

I knit Molly a toy for her upcoming birthday and I am officially NOT good at making faces on these little knitted toys...such an important detail that most knitters just BREEZE over..."bind off, make the face, enjoy toy!!"..OK...how do I just "make the face"?  It is not that easy.  Practice you say??  I will .

I have a knitting date this Saturday...my friend, who is a new knitter, and I are going to Fiber Space!! They are having a sale and I have not stepped foot in a REAL yarn store since Drew was born...

I plan to go with a plan.  I want to knit Molly something for her birthday, besides the toy.  Maybe this???
I want to knit my mom and mother and law something for Christmas...and I want to knit Drew another blanket.  All of these things can not be done at once and I need to decide what I am doing before I go shopping..because it is so hard to keep a clear mind and a strict budget once I cross the thresh hold of a yarn store...

But for now...I am spending all minutes I can with my new shawl and dreams of the next one in my life...
like this one...
or this one...
but  this one is cute too...
