On Drew's Bookshelf

I guess this is what an MBA student reads to his newborn son on a chilly Sunday afternoon after lunch.

  4. Lisa, I'm de-lurking with a question that is actually related to your last post rather than this one. Do you have any tips on meeting people? I belong to a great parish with a lot of young families, and my husband and I realize we really need to reach out and be friendly with people, but I feel a little weird just going up and saying, "Hi! You have no idea who I am, but I think you look like someone I'd like to know!" Our parish has a school, so it seems like most of the parents have that connection. Our oldest is only 1 1/2, so he's not quite at the age where he'd be interacting much with other kids, so I can't really meet people that way. Any tips from an extrovert to an introvert who wants to be more extroverted?

      And thanks again!
