Hello November

What a great way to farewell October...a fun night was had by all.  Priscilla stole the show for me..as most 2 year olds do when they trick-or-treat..so cute and so happy to receive the precious gift of CANDY!!  I am  thinking of reworking Christmas gifts all together...

I am now about 27-28 week pregnant and I feel like I have about 35 to go. I am not a really good pregnant woman.  It is really hard for me to be s physical as I like to be.  I am at the phase where I walk into a room and the first thing I do it think..."Where is the chair and how long can I sit in it!"  I have a long way to go and lots to get done before now and new baby.  But I am using my time wisely...

I am trying to learn as much as I can in the knitting world before this baby gets here.  I know once baby is here knitting will slow down and so will the desire.  I am stock-piling while I can....

Which leads me to this weeks OBSESSION..I want to make ME a sweater.  I want to have a woman's sweater under my belt before time runs out.

If you are a knitter..PLEASE HELP!!  I think I am going for the Whisper Cardigan

by Hannah Fettig .  It has no buttons and it does not really close. I want to be able to wear it NOW and of course the rest of my life.  But I need  a project to take me longer than 3 nights to knit because I am spending WAY to much time finding new things to knit and thinking about it all the time. If I have this little number on my needles I may slow down the rate of knitting consumption.

If you have a better idea for a 1st time sweater PLEASE tell me...

  1. It's a really cute cardigan. I've never made an adult sized sweater, but have made several kids sized and am making my first adult sized vest. My suggestion, is just take it step by step. Don't worry about the front when your working on the back, etc. It's a fun process. Also Youtube is your friend!
