This Is What Happens When..

There is so much to do .....
And such little time to do it.
And to be honest ,all I want to do right now is knit...
Who knew that I would love knitting so much?

That's me though..I love cute mommy blog pictures on the Internet so I spend a lot of money on a new camera..

Spend an entire year taking pictures of EVERYTHING EVERYONE is doing (much to my families dismay), write a blog and start reading even more blogs.
Next I decide I want to try knitting...and now....

All I want to do is hear the little click - clacking of those sweet needles...making something  all the while ....

Praying .....

Praying for people I know. Praying for people I don't know.  And praying for so many things that are unknown.

So maybe that's why I have been knitting so much..cause I have a lot of praying to do.  And it seems like knitting has helped me do that this last month.

Plus, knitting can not get a virus and cause you to loose a lot of sleep all the while causing a few arguments with your beloved.

So..for now, just some pictures of the sweetness of fall which we so miss when it is over.
I have my 3rd knitting lesson tomorrow night and then I will do the big
"reveal" post of my first
Little House That Grew Knitted Creation!!!

  4. I can't wait to see what you made! We should have knitting bees, like they used to have quilting bees back in the day... that would be such great fun!

  5. Congrats in your new love of knitting! I tried it, but the arthritis in my hands won't let me keep an even tension on the yarn. So now I bead.. (guess what everyone is getting for Christmas...let me know if their is a special color I can make for your babies)I can't wait to see your finished project!!! Homemade gifts by you for your kids are the very very best gifts. Crafts like knitting give them the tangible things that outlive ourselves and they will still have one day to keep them warm long after we can.
