Fall Book Give-A-Way WINNERS!!

I am so excited to announce the 4 winners of this great Homeschool book.  I loved reading this book and I feel so grateful to the moms who shared their stories in the book and now you guys get to read the book and maybe pass it on...

Winners were randomly chosen by a number generator about 5 minutes ago...(longer than that now..this post took me forever to write)
The #'s are

My oldest (four-year-old) has just started preschool at the local Catholic school. I'm seriously considering pulling her out to homeschool her. (We're homeschooling already, in addition to preschool.) I wonder how I'll be able to get everything done if I homeschool. We have a baby due in February. Can I do it all, and do it well??

Annie- Lots of people I know keep their little kids home for as long as they can.  The preschool and early elementary years are really fun to teach..the hard part is keeping all those little busy people ..busy enough.  Keep praying and just know that once you make a choice  the grace is there. And just by being a mom..you are a homeschooler!!

I just started homeschooling this year! The first week was "rough"...but now it's going really well! I think we had to just get into the rhythm!! :) Your review sounds great! Can't wait to read this book!

Angela- Welcome to homeschooling.  Every year is different and every first week is rough..but my great homeschool mentor once told me .."These are all just moments in time..." That little phrase always sticks with me when I am struggling in the moment.  Thanks for reading and commenting.  Enjoy this WONDERFUL dose of strength.

Sounds like an interesting read.I do not homeschool, and to be honest I am pretty positive that I will never have the desire to do so.But like you said, mothers are teachers, regardless of whether we are homeschooling or not. We are ALWAYS teaching at home, with our words and by example. So I'd be interested in this book. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity! :)

Genn- First, let me tell you I love your blog!  You take great pictures and I am a picture gal.  I love that your comment said "I am pretty positive that I will never have the desire to do so".  I said that myself and I know lots of moms who have said that...you never know.  However, you are right  "We are always teaching". I think this book has stories that speak to people on many different levels.  You never know where the information will lead you or someone you know.  So thanks for commenting and reading my blog.  I love finding new friends. I have to add...I love your profile on your blog.  I felt like I knew you instantly!!

I would like to give this book to every mom I know, I wish I could.  Thank you so much for commenting and a special thanks to Jen who blogs at Forever, For Always, No Matter What for linking the give-a-way post on her blog  ..I think you need to own this book ,there are lots of great adoption stories.  Maybe a "Yeah, it is fall" gift for yourself!
And also thanks to Katie who blogs at Obaitori.com for linking me on her blog.

And just for good measure..
Thanks to everyone one of you who read this blog and make my day with the words you leave behind.  I have such a good time reading what you all leave here and I  love reading your blogs too!!
And now, I am off to enjoy this fall day here in Alabama...we never know when summer will return.

  2. Hi Lisa!
Oh my gosh, I can't believe I won a copy of this book!! How crazy is that.

Thank you so much! I really am very excited to read it. I am an avid reader, and love learning new things, so I can't wait to dive into it.

Thanks so much for your nice comment too!!
I feel the same about your blog.
I love meeting new blog friends. :)
It's funny you said that you like my profile because I read years ago that the hardest thing to do sometimes is to describe yourself. Not to say what you do or what you like, but to say I AM...
so I tried to write my profile with that in mind.

So the Brazilian Blowout, is FUH-AB-ULOUS!! Do you have curl in your hair? Or frizz? It is a smoothing/conditioning treatment that eliminates all frizz from your hair for 3-5 months. I did an entire blog post about it when I had it done on my hair just a few posts ago. You might have to click on older posts two times and then you'd find it. It's amazing. Oh yea, and I love that picture of your Mom with the rollers in her hair!

Anyway, sorry for the long winded comment here!
Thanks again for the book!! I'm so sorry you didn't win the hair products. Maybe next time!
